 RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION

 ON 19 AUGUST

Raksha Bandhan, a significant festival in Indian culture, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at our vidyalaya. A total of 137 students, 14 teaching staff, and 4 non-teaching staff participated in the celebration.

The event, hosted by Ranjeeta mam, commenced with a brief speech by Vimla mam, highlighting the importance and significance of Raksha Bandhan. The festival aims to strengthen the bond between brothers and sisters, emphasizing mutual love, protection, and trust.

To further promote this spirit, two groups were formed consisting of teachers and students. One group visited the Shore Point Panchayat Office, while the other group went to the Bambooflat Police Station. During these visits, students tied rakhis on the wrists of the officials, symbolizing protection and solidarity.

The celebration was a resounding success, fostering unity and harmony among participants and reinforcing the values of sibling relationships.
