        UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY 

The universal brotherhood day celebrations were held with great enthusiasm and energy on 11/09/24 at Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Shore point.The event aimed to promote unity, harmony,and camaraderie among students from different schools, fostering a spirit of brotherhood.


    The program began with a warm welcome speech delivered by smti.Sita Das ( H.M) The event brought together students,and teachers from various schools creating an environment of unity, diversity,and mutual respect. 

On this day we had the honour of welcoming a distinguished guest K .BALAKRISHNA, Pradhan shore point , PTA and SMC Members who inspired everyone with their words of unity and peace. 



The highlight of the day was the interschool competitions that aimed  to nurture the spirit of healthy competition, cooperation  and teamwork. students from 6 schools along with 6 teachers participated in a wide range of competitions including - Thought writing, Swami ji get up and Elocution and cultural performance. Each competition was designed to encourage critical thinking, communication skills, and deep understanding of the theme of universal brotherhood.

delivered by Akash Dey(Teacher) who emphasized the importance of cultivating the today's world. The program was concluded by vote of thanks given by B.Prabha (teacher).

Ganesh Chaturthi, a significant festival in the hindu calendar, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at our Vidyalaya. The festival commemorates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the patron of knowledge. 

The celebration began with a prayer ceremony and the installation of Lord Ganesh's idol made by students , followed by aarti and bhajan. 

A total of 122 students, PTA and SMC members , parents, all the teaching and non- teaching staff became the part of this holy celebration. 




The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at was a grand success, fostering unity, devotion, and cultural awareness among students, teachers, and parents. The festival's significance was effectively conveyed, reinforcing the values of faith, wisdom, and prosperity. 


Teacher's Day Celebration

On 5th September 2024

Teacher's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at our Vidyalaya on 5th September 2024. The day commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a revered educationist and former President of India.

The celebration began with a prayer ceremony and lighting of the lamp, followed by a floral tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan's portrait. The entire program was meticulously organized by the students of Class VI.

Students presented heartfelt speeches, soulful songs, thought-provoking poems, and captivating dances to express their deep gratitude towards their teachers.

  

Additionally students arranged fine filled games for teachers, including musical chairs and passing the ball, which saw enthusiastic participation from all the teaching staff.

A total of 279 students, 14 teaching staff, and 4 non-teaching staff participated in the celebration, making it a vibrant and inclusive event.


The Teacher's Day celebration at our Vidyalaya was a resounding success. It reinforced the importance of teachers in our lives and strengthened the bond between students and teachers. 

SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI

 Janmashtami,the joyous festival commemorating the birth of lord Krishna, was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in our school on(26/08/24).The event was filled with vibrant performances religious fervor,and cultural displays, making it a memorable day for all.

                           The  celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a special prayer session.The atmosphere was filled with spirituality as students and teachers participated in the chanting of devotional songs and the recitation of shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita.



   One of the highlights of the event was the cultural program,where students dressed as Lord Krishna,and Radha. 




Overall,the janmastami celebrations was a grand success, bringing in school community together in devotion,joy, and cultural appreciation.It not only helped students learn about Indian traditional but also fostered a sense of unity and spirituality.

 RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION

 ON 19 AUGUST

Raksha Bandhan, a significant festival in Indian culture, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at our vidyalaya. A total of 137 students, 14 teaching staff, and 4 non-teaching staff participated in the celebration.



The event, hosted by Ranjeeta mam, commenced with a brief speech by Vimla mam, highlighting the importance and significance of Raksha Bandhan. The festival aims to strengthen the bond between brothers and sisters, emphasizing mutual love, protection, and trust.



To further promote this spirit, two groups were formed consisting of teachers and students. One group visited the Shore Point Panchayat Office, while the other group went to the Bambooflat Police Station. During these visits, students tied rakhis on the wrists of the officials, symbolizing protection and solidarity.

The celebration was a resounding success, fostering unity and harmony among participants and reinforcing the values of sibling relationships.
