162nd BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA AND NATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2025

ZPVKV, Shore Point Celebrates National Youth Day with Grandeur

On Jan. 12: Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (ZPVKV), Shore Point, marked the 162nd Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and National Youth Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event, held on the school premises, saw active participation from dignitaries, students, and members of the local community.

The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Pujya Swamiji Shuddhananda Saraswati, Acharya, Chinmaya Mission, Sri Vijaya Puram as the chief guest. Smti Padmavati , Samiti Pramukh, Ferrargunj , Shri. K. Bala Krishna , Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Shore Point and Smti. Naseema Bibi , Pradhan , Gram Panchayat, Bambooflat -2 , as the special guest over the occasion.

The program began with Invocation  dance followed by the lighting of  ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and special  guests. Smti. Sita Das, Headmistress of ZPVKV Shore Point, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the day’s festivities. A series of cultural performances, prepared with dedication by the students, captivated the audience. Key highlights included:

• Energetic dances by students from various classes.

• A skit depicting inspiring incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda.

• A vibrant group folk dance by Class VI girls.

       •The prize distribution ceremony celebrated the achievements of students in various competitions, inspiring them to strive for excellence.

In his address, Pujya Swamiji  Shuddhananda Saraswati underscored the timeless relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and urged students to imbibe his values of discipline, dedication, and service to the nation.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, and the National Anthem. The event not only honored Swami Vivekananda’s legacy but also inspired the students to lead meaningful and purposeful lives, embodying his vision of youth empowerment.

GITA JYANTI -11/12/2024

 

On 11th December 2024, our Vidyalaya celebrated Gita Jayanti with great enthusiasm and fervor. The highlight of the event was the Karma Yoga Shloka recitation competition, where the best students from each class, ranging from Class 1 to Class 6, showcased their skills.

The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with a total of 289 students and teaching staff comprised 13 members, while 4 non-teaching staff members were also present to support the event.

Overall, the Gita Jayanti celebrations and the Karma Yoga Shloka competition served as a wonderful platform to promote spiritual awareness, cultural values, and academic excellence among the students.

THIRD SCIENCE, ART AND CRAFT EXHIBITION AND SADHNA DIWAS 2024-25

On 19th November 2024, our Vidyalaya, Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Shore Point, conducted its 3rd Science, Art, and Craft Exhibition, along with the celebration of Sadhana Diwas.

The program commenced with a warm welcome for the special guest, Dr. Manoharan, the Deputy Education Officer, Wimberlygunj Zone. The event was graced by the presence of two Headmistresses of PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Bambooflat, two Teacher-In-Charges from Government Primary School, Tsunami Pahad, and Shore Point, and three teachers from PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Bambooflat, along with other dignitaries.

The event was inaugurated by a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Dr. Manoharan, followed by presenting flower bouquets to the dignitaries. The traditional lamp-lighting ceremony was then conducted, marking the auspicious beginning of the event.

Students of Class VI sang a melodious song, setting the tone for the day, followed by the Manglacharan, rendered beautifully by our Vidyalaya teachers, Smti. Sterila and Smti. Ranjeeta. A speech on the importance of Sadhana Diwas was delivered by Mr. Akash Dey, highlighting its significance and relevance.

Following this, Dr. Manoharan, along with three esteemed teachers serving as judges, visited the student exhibits one by one. The event witnessed seamless coordination under the able guidance of Ms. Varsha (Member Secretary) and Shri Ramachandra Venugopal (Examination Coordinator).

Dr. Manoharan delivered an inspiring speech, commending the efforts of both teachers and students in making the exhibition a grand success. Parents and other visitors also explored the creative models and appreciated the students' hard work and ingenuity.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. M. Selvi (Teacher), expressing gratitude to everyone for their contributions and support. The event ended on a serene note with the recitation of the Shanti Mantra.

The Third Science, Art, and Craft Exhibition, coupled with Sadhana Diwas, was a memorable event that showcased the talents and dedication of our students and teachers, leaving everyone inspired.
