GITA JYANTI -11/12/2024

 



On 11th December 2024, our Vidyalaya celebrated Gita Jayanti with great enthusiasm and fervor. The highlight of the event was the Karma Yoga Shloka recitation competition, where the best students from each class, ranging from Class 1 to Class 6, showcased their skills.






The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with a total of 289 students and teaching staff comprised 13 members, while 4 non-teaching staff members were also present to support the event.







Overall, the Gita Jayanti celebrations and the Karma Yoga Shloka competition served as a wonderful platform to promote spiritual awareness, cultural values, and academic excellence among the students.

THIRD SCIENCE, ART AND CRAFT EXHIBITION AND SADHNA DIWAS 2024-25


On 19th November 2024, our Vidyalaya, Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Shore Point, conducted its 3rd Science, Art, and Craft Exhibition, along with the celebration of Sadhana Diwas.

The program commenced with a warm welcome for the special guest, Dr. Manoharan, the District Education Officer, Wimberlygunj Zone. The event was graced by the presence of two Headmistresses of PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Bambooflat, two Teacher-In-Charges from Government Primary School, Tsunami Pahad, and Shore Point, and three teachers from PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Bambooflat, along with other dignitaries.

The event was inaugurated by a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Dr. Manoharan, followed by presenting flower bouquets to the dignitaries. The traditional lamp-lighting ceremony was then conducted, marking the auspicious beginning of the event.




Students of Class VI sang a melodious song, setting the tone for the day, followed by the Manglacharan, rendered beautifully by our Vidyalaya teachers, Smti. Sterila and Smti. Ranjeeta. A speech on the importance of Sadhana Diwas was delivered by Mr. Akash Dey, highlighting its significance and relevance.


Following this, Dr. Manoharan, along with three esteemed teachers serving as judges, visited the student exhibits one by one. The event witnessed seamless coordination under the able guidance of Ms. Varsha (Member Secretary) and Shri Ramachandra Venugopal (Examination Coordinator).

Dr. Manoharan delivered an inspiring speech, commending the efforts of both teachers and students in making the exhibition a grand success. Parents and other visitors also explored the creative models and appreciated the students' hard work and ingenuity.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. M. Selvi (Teacher), expressing gratitude to everyone for their contributions and support. The event ended on a serene note with the recitation of the Shanti Mantra.

The Third Science, Art, and Craft Exhibition, coupled with Sadhana Diwas, was a memorable event that showcased the talents and dedication of our students and teachers, leaving everyone inspired.

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATIONS





The Children’s Day celebration on 14th November was a joyful and memorable event. The day began with a warm welcome for the students, where each child was greeted and presented with a flower as a token of love and appreciation.

The program commenced with a heartfelt speech delivered by Selvi, who highlighted the importance of Children’s Day and its significance in honoring the legacy of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose love for children is celebrated on this day.

Following the speech, a series of fun games were organized to engage the students. Activities such as Passing the Ball and Balance Race brought out the enthusiasm and excitement in every child, fostering a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition.

After the games, each student was delighted to receive a gift, which added to the festive mood and made the day even more special for them.

The event concluded with a communal lunch organized for all the students, providing them with a chance to bond and enjoy a delicious meal together.



Overall, the celebration was a grand success, filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories for the students.

BHAJAN SANDHYA AT TIRUPATI MANDIR

Our Vidyalaya, ZPVKV, Shore Point, organized a spiritual Bhajan Sandhya at Tirupati Mandir, Medical Pahar,the  event commenced with a soulful Krishna bhajan, sung  together  by teachers and students, the collective chanting filled the atmosphere with devotion and harmony, finally the puja was concluded by a prashad distribution.





GANDHI JAYANTI 2/10/2024

 

October 2nd is a day of immense historical and cultural importance, especially in India. It commemorates the birth anniversaries of two great leaders—Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri—both of whom shaped the nation through their principles and actions.


1. Mahatma Gandhi’s Birth Anniversary (1869):

Gandhi, known as the Father of the Nation, is celebrated for his philosophy of non-violence (Ahimsa) and his pivotal role in India’s independence movement.

His ideals of truth, simplicity, and peaceful resistance continue to inspire millions globally.

The day is also observed as the International Day of Non-Violence by the United Nations. 

2. Lal Bahadur Shastri’s Birth Anniversary (1904):

Shastri, India’s second Prime Minister, is remembered for his leadership during the Indo-Pak War of 1965.

His slogan, “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”, highlights the importance of soldiers and farmers in building a strong nation.

He embodied simplicity, integrity, and dedication to the welfare of the people.



On October 2nd, our school celebrated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and Lal Bahadur Shastri, India’s second Prime Minister. The day was observed with great enthusiasm and respect, reflecting the values and contributions of these great leaders.

The day began with a special assembly where students recited prayers and sang patriotic songs.


Teachers and students gave speeches highlighting the lives and values of Gandhi and Shastri.



The event concluded with a pledge by students to practice cleanliness, respect, and non-violence in their lives. The day was a meaningful reminder of the ideals of Gandhi and Shastri, leaving everyone inspired to contribute to a better society.






This day serves as a reminder of our responsibility to carry forward their legacies through our actions and values.
